What
The Pause is a biweekly gathering of folks living through all of the changes associated with perimenopause and being middle-aged. Perimenopause brings about significant hormonal changes that affect mental and physical health all while women are focusing on career growth, parenting, caregiving for aging parents, being involved in the community, and/or project managing households at the same time! As a group member of The Pause, you can share and process your experience while learning how to better regulate emotions, set boundaries, increase self care routines, and strike balance in your life. This confidential group provides peer support and professional resourcing from a licensed therapist who gets it.
When
This group will meet every other week on Friday morning from 9-10:30 AM from September 11 – November 20, 2026. Group members commit to 6 group sessions upon enrollment.

Located in the Merriam Park neighborhood of St. Paul, just north of I-94 and the Cretin/Vandalia exit. We are located in Suite 103 which is on the main level of the Ivy League Place building. Our door is in the southwest corner of the building (by the billboard). A large, accessible parking lot is available outside our entrance.

Therapist
Fees
Group cost is $75 for the required group screening and $50-75 (pay what you can) for biweekly sessions. Group members commit to 6 sessions at a fixed rate upon enrollment. Superbills are provided for all group members and are particularly helpful for those who would like to submit to HSA, flex accounts, or insurance providers for out-of-network reimbursement. Therapist may be able to submit out of network insurance claims if requested following payment.
