Teen DBT Skills Group

Who: Students in 8th-12th grade

What: This 8-week psycho-educational skills group teaches skills from the DBT modules of core mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. Please note: This is a skills group and is not an intensive or adherent DBT program.

Teen Calm Group 


Who: Adolescents in middle and high school who are in need of skills to better manage anxiety and bring calm into their minds and lives.

What: In this 6-week psycho-educational group that explores various types of anxiety, group members will build skills to decrease the overall impact of the stress and anxiety they experience and learn how to prevent it from taking over.

Who: Middle and high schoolers. 

What: Each week the group will focus on a specific topic related to identity development, including areas of social, emotional, and/or physical, and overall health. There will also be general discussion with peer sharing and support.

How: Intake session is required before a new session begins. Please email sjohnson@sentiertherapy.com for more information.

High School Gaming Group

Who: High school students ages 14-18 with an interest in playing longform campaign-style group games like D&D.

What: This 8 week therapy group will play a tabletop role playing game (RPG) campaign in the style of Dungeons and Dragons and the Critical Core gaming system, which was developed by mental health professionals.
