High School Gaming Group - In Person

Who

High school students ages 14 – 18 with an interest in playing longform campaign-style group games.

What

This therapy group will play the tabletop role playing game (RPG) Dungeons and Dragons using the 5e rule set. This group will support the mental health of group members through healthy social connections, conversation, and teamwork.

When

This group will meet on Wednesdays from 6:00 – 7:30 pm from June 12 – August 14, 2024.

Located in the Highland Park neighborhood above Highgrove Dental, next to CorePower Yoga, and across the street from Cecil’s Deli.

Why

The purpose of this group is to provide a safe place for teens to make social connections while working on skills like emotional regulation, planning, and perspective-taking.

How

Please email Ellie, our Client Care Coordinator, at [email protected] or call 763.913.8261 to schedule a group Intake session at least two weeks prior to the start date.

Fees

Group cost is $75 for the group intake and per group session and includes materials. Sliding fee available; inquire with therapist. Superbills are provided for all group members and are particularly helpful for those who would like to submit to HSA, flex accounts, or insurance providers for out-of-network reimbursement. Therapist may be able to electronically submit out of network insurance claims if requested following payment.
