Bria sees the wonderful possibility that lives within every child. She views children as active participants in their own healing and growth, approaching therapy as a collaborative journey grounded in respect, wonder, and care. To Bria, child-centered therapy is sacred: a space where a child’s full self—their feelings, imagination, questions, and strengths—can be welcomed and nurtured. She is dedicated to creating environments where children feel safe exploring their inner worlds and supported enough to grow in ways that honor who they already are, helping them reconnect with the joy and curiosity of childhood.

Bria’s work focuses on early childhood, a stage she considers both tender and profoundly formative. As a former toddler and pre-school teacher, she developed a deep appreciation for how young children make sense of the world—how abstract emotions become tangible through play, storytelling, and relationships. This experience shapes her therapeutic approach: helping children navigate their experiences while preserving the creativity, curiosity, and authenticity that define childhood, which helps move them through difficult seasons. Bria works with children and families from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds, various faith traditions, neurodivergent children, and young people exploring their identities and gender expression.

Outside of therapy, Bria enjoys exploring local independent bookstores, attending community markets and fairs, and embracing her own inner child. She believes that cultivating her own joy and playfulness allows her to bring empathy, presence, and warmth into her work with children. She shares life with her wife, Kate, and their cat, Chadford. Snoopy-themed treasures are her love language, and she firmly believes in the restorative power of a small, sweet treat.

Bria works with individuals across the spectrum of age, race, gender, ability, and sexual orientation.
