Learning how to be a person is a moment-to-moment and lifelong exercise. It takes time and attention to truly get to know our values and goals while also factoring in our wants, needs, and personal possibilities.  Because we are relational, we also take into account what other people want and need from us all while figuring out effective and appropriate paths forward for each of life’s moments. Safe to say, life  is full of sloppy nuance and complexity! In therapy, Levi is committed to helping clients  untangle these sometimes messy dynamics, figure out and achieve their goals, and live more fulfilling lives.

Levi enjoys working with teens, emerging  adults, adults, and in small groups. He puts an emphasis on emotional growth, relational depth, interpersonal skill-building, and creative self-expression. Those who seek deeper connection, emotional insight, and stronger relationships in their personal and professional domains tend to do well when working with Levi.  He helps clients notice the (sometimes unfair) stories they tell themselves about who they are, often using narrative therapy to support clients. Levi believes that justice, kindness, and creativity are vital for helping people as a therapist. Humor is also an essential element of Levi’s work.

When he isn’t working with clients, Levi runs an all-ages theater company called Comedy Suitcase that specializes in making funny plays that appeal to young people and their grown-ups. Born in St. Paul but now living all the way across the river in Minneapolis, he loves running along creeks, lifting heavy things, baking bread, and going on impromptu adventures with his wife and young adult daughter.
