Grief Support for Teens

Grief Support for Teens

This group takes place virtually through secure video conferencing at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic and suggestions from the MN Department of Health. Please contact [email protected] to inquire about the status of this group.

This group is for teens ages 13-18 who have experienced the loss of a loved one.

Grief Support for Teens will help teens process, explore, and share their experience of loss, and get support from peers. Art, music, and other activities will be used to support teens in the healing process.

Every other Tuesday 6-7:30pm from February 2nd – April 26th 2021.

Group will be held online due to COVID-19 for the time being. When this changes, the website will be updated.

Grief is unpredictable and affects many areas of our lives. The purpose of this group is to provide a caring, non-judgmental environment for teens to grieve, share their feelings, gain support from peers who get it, and begin to heal.

To ask questions and to register for the group, contact therapist Annalise John at [email protected].

The cost per session is $40. Please inquire with the group therapist for sliding fee availability. Therapist may be able to submit out of network insurance claims if requested following payment.
